Game Rules
1. Each post should be a minimum of 2 to 3 paragraphs or 200 plus words (Sounds like a lot but it's not) and written from a third person perspective. Only Journal entries may be written in first person and the subject line should be clearly marked Journal Entry with your character name and entry date,
I.E. Journal Entry – Abigail Heller Van Helsing 12/17/12
2. There is a limit of 2 characters per writer, unless moderator approved. You can't create two characters romantically linked to each other.
3. Posts should go out every 2 to 3 days per character in an active scene (Again sounds like a lot but it's not. Basically, it works out to about twice a week). Of course, posting more than the minimum requirement is always encouraged.
NOTE: OOC the list if you will be M.I.A. for an extended period of time. General OOC emails should be sent to [email protected]
If you go missing for more then a week without posting or emailing the OOC list of your absence I will OOC the group that we will be moving your character (s) so as not to hold the scene (s) up. If you don't post in 2 weeks your status will go back to moderated. If you don't post in 3 weeks you will be removed as a writer from the list and the fate of your character(s) will be determined by the moderator.
4. Subject lines should tag another player and state your character name, and general time reference and current in-game date,
I.E. Abigail Heller Van Helsing Late Morning 12/24/2012 TAG Marcus or Anyone (Anyone if it's open to other characters joining in).
5. If you include bits of someone's post in yours clearly mark it either with << or set it in italics and limit replay or back posting in-between other folks' writing to only the last TWO paragraphs of their post. Anyone who replays or back posts someone's entire scene instead of moving it forward will be asked for a repost.
6. You cannot write for another character besides your own unless that character has been clearly marked an NPC on the list.
7. Subplots are encouraged among writers and if there is anything I can do as the mod to help build on them by all means hit me up.
8. Mainly let's remember we should be ENJOYING ourselves and having FUN!
See that wasn't too bad.
